The 7th MEDYS Mediterranean Yacht Show a spectacular boat show in a unique location, is taking place in Nafplion from the 30thApril to the 4th May and is sponsored by the Greek Yachting Association.

Once again MEDSYS will feature the Chefs’ Competition 2022 where some of Greece’s most talented chefs will showcase their expertise and creativity in the hope of winning this highly acclaimed award. The theme this year is ‘Decadent Vegan’ where the chefs are invited to create traditional Greek flavours and traditions, while eliminating any animal products or by-products from their ingredients. This allows them to showcase their ability to adapt to changing trends while creating enticing and indulgent dishes.
Nafplion, named after the son of Poseidon and Amymonis, is one of the most charming towns of Greece, set in a beautiful landscape surrounded by crystal clear waters, and with a rich and authentic culture. Nafplion was the first capital of the Greek state from 1823 to 1834, so this combination of historical relevance and magical atmosphere attracts sailors and travellers all year round.
Attractions include the famous for Bourtzi, a fortress built on an islet in the middle of the bay, Palamidi, a Venetian fortress crowning the city and the Akronafplia fortress built on the peninsula. Visiting the old town you will see elements of Nafplion’s conquerors in the architecture, buildings, museums, churches and mosques.
