Cannes summer events and festivals 2022

This summer in Cannes you can enjoy a musical extravaganza, stunning firework displays and/or visit the boat shows and regattas, while enjoying being pampered by your experienced crew and treated to star quality cuisine by the onboard chef.
JAZZ A JUAN: 6 – 19 July
If jazz is your taste in music then Europe’s oldest jazz festival celebrates its 61st birthday this year. JAZZ À JUAN takes place along the coast in Antibes’ Juan les Pins. Jazz à Juan is a seaside festival with many of the biggest names in Jazz, performing in July every year at the Gould Pine Grove. As the oldest jazz festival in Europe, it has become an amazing melting pot of different jazz trends. Many famous performers have made history here since its inception in 1960, treading the boards of the stage in this mythical pine grove. As well as the on the main stage, the Antibes Juan-les-Pins Tourist Office celebrates jazz with concerts in the streets featuring many different bands and soloists. FIREWORKS FESTIVAL July 14, 21, 30 and August 8, 15, 24
West Coast provides superyachts for charters where you can also enjoy the weekly evening spectaculars which start at 10pm from the five barges in the bay. Watching from your private superyacht laid back on deck you will be assured of the best view and enjoy accompanying music on the local Cannes Radio station.
PLAGES ELECTRONIQUE: 5 – 7 August
The event starts each day at 2pm till 5am the following day. There will be six stages with a total of 60 artists over the three days which you can watch on the sand, the rooftop, terrace and inside the Palais as well as from your own sailing or motoryacht. CANNES BOAT SHOW 6 -11 September 2022
Based in Cannes Old Port this is the largest water-based boat show in Europe. With over 500 boats to explore on the water, you can try before you buy if you are thinking of investing in your own dream yacht.
To make it easier for you will find areas colour coded to the different types of boat featured. Whether you would like to buy your own superyacht or start smaller with a dayboat, or just visit the new boats making their debut, it will be a wondrous occasion. You will also find a village area offering services and equipment as well as the shopping village in the Palais. Shuttle boats take you between the old port and Port Canto where the world’s top charter and brokerage companies can be found.
ROYAL REGATTAS 18 – 24 September
The Royal Regattas take place in the last week of September each year in the Bay of Cannes. From your own private yacht you can watch 150 of the most beautiful old sailing ships in the world, often more than a century old, race each other in relentless jousts. Some of these vessels are more than 50m long – so it’s sure to be a sight to behold as they sail along the beaches and the piers of this beautiful Cannes bay, watched by visitors from around the world.
