This itinerary will avail you of beautiful beaches, charming towns and tasty cuisine, while enjoying your cruise on the stunning Mediterranean Sea.

Day 1: Cagliari – The Gateway to Sardinia

Arrive early and you can explore Sardinia’s vibrant capital town Cagliari, before setting sail. Wander through the historic Castello district, with its Cathedral and be sure to take in the panoramic views from the Bastione di Saint Remy. Then, at the marina, after a short safety briefing and orientation, you can set sail for the picturesque town of Villasimius. Finally, dropping anchor at Campulongu Beach you can enjoy a relaxed dinner on board, savouring your first breathtaking sunset.

Day 2: Villasimius – Nature’s Paradise

In the serene setting of Villasimius you will be able to enjoy all that the Marine Reserve of Capo Carbonara has to offer. Well known for its diverse marine life and clear waters, this protected area is perfect for snorkeling and diving. In the afternoon you can set sail for Porto Giunco Beach, where you will be amazed by its stunning white sands.Take a leisurely swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters or head off to explore the nearby lagoon of Stagno di Notteri with its flock of pink flamingos. In the evening you can choose to dine on board or head into Villasimius town for authentic local seafood, and to sample the wonderful flavours of Sardinian cuisine.

Day 3: Costa Rei – The King’s Coast

Heading for Costa Rei, you will be able to appreciate the famed long sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Whether you choose to enjoy a morning swim or a walk along the Spiaggia di Costa Rei, you will feel invigorated by the surroundings. After lunch at anchor, you can indulge in kayaking or paddleboarding, or simply relax in the sunshine on deck. As the sun sets you will be able to feast on a barbecue on board with fresh local produce, amid the tranquil sounds of the sea and a coastline which provides a perfect backdrop.

Day 4: Porto Corallo – Tranquil Beauty

In the morning you will set sail for Porto Corallo, a beautiful destination with a small marina and surrounding beaches which offer a peaceful escape from the more touristic regions. The afternoon offers the opportunity to either explore the countryside or visit the local wineries to taste some of Sardinia’s finest wines. At the end of the day you can enjoy a quiet evening under the stars, while anchored in a quiet bay, offering solitude and the opportunity to take in nature’s beauty around you.

Day 5: Sant’Antioco – Island Charm

Arriving at the island of Sant’Antioco, you will find one of the oldest settlements in Sardinia which dates back to the Phoenicians. You can learn about the its historical significance as you explore the ancient ruins, or may prefer to take the opportunity to go hiking and explore hidden coves. In the evening you can choose to dine at a local trattoria, and discover more traditional dishes such as “tonno alla carlofortina” (tuna) and enjoy the island’s relaxed atmosphere.

Day 6: Carloforte – A Taste of Genoa

In the morning you will set sail for San Pietro. The island was settled by the Ligurian people from Genoa, and is home to the most charming town of Carloforte, with both architecture and cuisine reflecting the Ligurian influence. As you wander through its narrow streets you can visit the local markets, and try the famous “focaccia genovese”. Then, if you wish to cool off, you may still have time to swim in the beautiful Cala Fico or Cala Vinagra. Finally, enjoy a gastronomic feast at one of Carloforte’s renowned restaurants, offering the unique blend of Sardinian and Ligurian flavours.

Day 7: Pula and Nora – Ancient Ruins and Pristine Beaches

En route back to the mainland you can visit the ancient Roman ruins of Nora, one of Sardinia’s most important archaeological sites beside the sea, then relax on one of Pula’s beautiful beaches.Spiaggia di Nora and Chia Beach are known for their soft sand and clear waters. On your return to Cagliari you can disembark in time to enjoy dinner in the city, and reminisce about your memorable Sardinian adventure.
