We have removed the Stonehage Fleming Global Best Ideas Equity fund from The Adviser Centre.

This concentrated, growth-orientated fund has delivered a disappointing relative return outcome over the past three years, which is not wholly unexpected given the lack of market breadth within the US market, and a better period for value styles in most other equity markets.

At the same time, there have been some changes within the team in recent times.  Carolyn Bell joined the Group in 2024 and is the deputy portfolio manager alongside lead manager, Gerrit Smith.  Additionally, there have been some changes in the composition of the analyst team as well as some process developments, which are currently in train.

Reflecting upon these developments, we have less conviction in the proposition and, as a result, we have decided to remove the fund from the service.
