1. Bonifacio

We start our long weekend on your luxury yacht, embarking in Bonifacio on the southern tip of Corsica. You may want to explore the cobbled streets of the city, its imposing 13th century Bastion de L’Etendard and climb the King of Aragon staircase with its 187 steps carved into the cliff, before we set sail. Once settled onboard we head North along the West coast to reach some of the quiet bays and beautiful beaches in the region. Many of these are uncrowded even in mid-Summer, so it is easy to find a quiet bay to swim or relax in peace. In the evening enjoy your own private banquet on board your superyacht, prepared by your personal chef.

2. Campomoro

We head further along the coast to the beach at Campomoro, and you will be struck how calm it is! Lying at the end of a small, grass-covered road on the Gulf of Valinco, it has kept its original charm. There are no large buildings, just a beautiful beach with clear water and mountains rising steeply behind. If you like to hike then look for the Genovese watchtower, which marks the start of a wonderful trail that winds along a carefully preserved 15 km of coastline with fine sandy coves and rock formations. If you prefer to admire the coves from onboard- there is much to see for lovers of snorkelling.

3. Capicciolo and Propriano

We stay in the area of the Gulf of Valinco which is scattered with charming villages and moor at Capicciolo, with its golden beach set in a nature reserve. This untamed beach offers a beautiful setting with dense vegetation on the beachfront and as it is not well known it is quiet even during the summer season. Nearby is the Calanca Cove below the tower of the same name, and it is here that you will find some of Corsica’s best scuba diving sites suitable for all abilities. Keen divers may want to check out the wreck at Pointe de l’Omu. At the end of the day we head for Propriano, the main town in the region with its lively port and many restaurants, bars and clubs on the waterfront, should you want to sample the local delicacies. Along the shores though, there are countless hidden coves if you prefer to dine onboard.

4. Lavezzi

On our final day we head back to Bonifacio and with a fair wind can make a final stop at the Lavezzi Islands just east of Bonifacio. These islands are a nature reserve featuring stunning rock formations, reefs and beaches- perfect for a final swim before heading home.
